Top Cool Apps today is thrilled to announce the release and immediate availability of Boris Bot Shootem 1.0, their nifty new game title developed exclusively for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Boris Bot is aimed at rekindling the excitement of the old and introducing young players to the unique fun and challenges of these style games.

Wrongfully imprisoned by a One Armed Bandit bot with flashbacks to an old TV series, Boris Bot Shootem is locked away for a crime he didn't commit. It is up to you to help him bust out of a high security prison, travel the desert wastes, and to clear his name. The story is told in 4 chapters. This classic game story is proven and comes with a tongue in cheek story line just like the original 'Duke Nukem'. 8 Bit style graphics have made something of a comeback lately with the likes of 'Flappy Bird' getting much attention so Boris Bot may garner some followers simply because it also has similar retro graphics.

The game features:
* Classic 8 bit graphics
* 4 challenging levels to play - 10 levels per chapter
* High resolution Retina graphics on iPad and iPhone
* Awesome soundtrack

Platform, running, jumping, shooting games were all the rage years ago. Duke Nukem (Released by Apogee) first appeared in 1991. "There are few retro platform games such as 'Duke Nukem' or 'Commander Keen' these days which is why 'Boris Bot Shootem' was created in homage to these old games so loved by many," explained Mathew Frank, game developer. "I was addicted to those old games and I have created a modern version to hopefully attract more players to the genre. This is my homage to the classic 90s platformers I always loved to play - I know you will enjoy it."

Boris Bot Shootem 1.0 is Free and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
