Sports Data Systems Inc. is delighted to announce that myGolfLeaderboard 1.1 - one of the topnotch iOS App for Golfers, goes free till June 30th of 2013! Developer Sports Data Systems Inc. has released a new version of myGolfLeaderboard application, now available on iTunes for FREE for a limited time. The application features real time scoring on a hole-by-hole basis as it happens. Everyone can view the scores of all golfers straight on their iOS device in real time. The sleek professional design allows players to watch the leaderboard scores and follow the matches allowing them to keep up with rankings for their event.

A new level of enjoyment and fun for all golfers is made possible by the technology by creating a leaderboard right on your iPhone or iPad. Now all golfers can get connected and see the action as it happens even if you are not playing in the event. All players can view the leaderboard in their iPhones and see the results as it happens, just like the pros on TV. For those not playing merely log on to the event on your device or see it on the web site.

"The real value of this application lies in the inherent ability to connect the golfing community and bring the social aspect to importance," said Bill Helman of Sports Data Systems Inc. "This leaderboard allows people to connect with their opponents and analyze their scores, and ultimately improve their game." "Now, with the Fathers's Day offer, it is time for the users to check out myGolfLeaderboard for Free," Bill concluded.

After launching the app, users will see a login screen with options. From there they will be able to sign into myGolfLeaderboard to view current scores, create a personal profile or start a new event. Users can search and select their respective golf course for new events, allowing them to gauge their community size and potential opponents. Events will be created after they are named. The Regular Play option is a shortcut to set up matches with friends. During events, participants can simultaneously record and publish scores on the scorecard screen. Along with viewing the leaderboard, players have the ability to analyze the game from a variety of statistical standpoints using the built in scoreboard.

Because Golf is often a popular social activity, the myGolfLeaderboard app is equipped with a number of different features to enhance the experience. If users have a regular group of players, they can add those names to the My Group feature, for quick set up every time. myGolfLeaderboard also includes Match Cards, which allows players to set up a match within a match. This feature allows users to easily measure themselves against one particular opponent in an already ongoing match. For added entertainment, the application comes preloaded with popular games like Scramble and Best Ball that can be easily accessed by users.

myGolfLeaderboard allows people to analyze both short term and long term progress. Users can instantly upload their stats to the website or their own personal page for review. These features allow golfers to closely evaluate weaknesses and improve their game. The application has many features with the ability to aid and enhance the game for serious golfers.
