Two brothers from the prefecture of Ftiothida in central Greece, Tasos and Dimitris Voulgaris made an iPhone and iPad application called Greece: History and Culture 1.2. It is the first application released presenting Greek history. Through its pages, the user can find all the information needed in order to be informed about Greece's history and culture in every period of time, or to add museum exhibits and archaeological sites that seem interesting to them.
Tasos and Dimitris Voulgaris made this iPhone and iPad application, with very limited resources. Their limited resources did not stop them from amazing the media all over Greece. This app presents the complete Greek History in a beautiful, easy to use interface.
Dimitris Voulgaris is an archaeologist and Tasos Voulgaris is a programmer. As a result, the professions of the two brothers was the perfect match for such a development.
Apple included this application in its App Store almost two weeks ago and has already received positive remarks about not only its quality, but also about its presentation mode.
Famous Greeks abroad, such as Rita Wilson, Maria Menounos, Nikos Aliagas and Nia Vardalos, have already praised the two young Greeks' achievement, writing flattering remarks on Facebook and Twitter.
