Atlantia Software today released InstaConcert for iOS, a new app that makes taking, sharing, and viewing photos while at a concert a snap. Featuring automatic location-based artist and venue discovery, 15 fun text skins for annotating shots, and effortless sharing to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, it enables users to quickly capture and share their best concert moments. Rounding out the feature-set of this streamlined, iOS 7 inspired app is a "Photos at this Show" feed that users can access to view Instagram photos that others have recently shared from the same concert.
"Attending concerts is one of my favorite pass-times" said Nick Bonatsakis, the app's creator and sole proprietor at Atlantia Software. "I started noticing a trend at shows, more and more people around me would be taking photos and sharing them to Instagram.", he said. "So i thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool if there were an app specifically designed to make taking concert photos a better experience?"
Regarding specifics around the app's features, Bonatsakis remarks "The automatic artist and venue discovery was the key feature for me. Everyone's annotating photos with text now days, and it bums me out to spend even a few moments of extra time at a concert typing it out instead of enjoying the music." "The other feature I'm super excited about is the Photos at this Show Feed" he added. " You're always seeing all thees people taking photos from different parts of the venue, being able to easily browse them all seemed like a natural fit for the app."
InstaConcert for iOS is available on the iTunes App Store for free, with in-app purchase to unlock the full set of photo skins.
InstaConcert 1.0 is Free and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Music category.
