Corporate Smalltalk Consulting, Ltd. today is pleased to announce an update to LargeViewer for iOS, their innovative document viewer that accommodates large page formats used by engineers, or architects worldwide. Ideal for examining 48-inch wide blueprints, detailed site layouts, CAD drawings, or hundred megapixel images using an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. The app provides fast scrolling vertically and horizontally with no drawing delay, and reads over 50 different file formats with enhanced cached Dropbox file download connectivity and file management.
LargeViewer is designed specifically to overcome the two most common problems when using a general purpose PDF document viewer to display very large documents on an iOS device: crashes, slow-downs and endless waits for scrolling. Normally viewing a ISO AO, USA Arch E, Large E, or the standard D1 format document using an iPad can be a frustrating experience. Scrolling slows to a crawl, zooming takes 15 seconds or longer, or the app just crashs. However LargeViewer is designed specifically to avoid all those issues as it is purpose built to support large pages and large documents for best viewing on your iPad or iPhone.
Features now include additional options for variable page size documents, and enhancements for better viewing of scanned books from archive.org.
LargeViewer reads all the following file formats: AVS, BMP, CUR, DIB, FITS, GIF, FAX, ICON, JNG, JP2, JPEC, JPEG, JPEG2000,JPG, MAT, MIFF, MTV, MVG, PBM, PCX, PDF, PGM, PICT, PIX, PNG, PNG8, PNG24, PNG32, PNM, PPM, RLE, SGI, TGA, TIFF, TIF, TIM, VIFF, WBMP, WPG, SBM, and XPM.
