Kudu Apps, LLC introduces a new social puzzle game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Available today, the Phumbler app offers a new take on sharing photos and pictures with friends and family in an easy to use social game format. The app sends a jumbled photo of the user's selection for recipients to solve using a streamlined asynchronous game interface.
The game play interface is designed to be easy to use so that people of all ages can enjoy sharing photos with each other while Facebook integration allows users to easily find and play with their friends that are already on Phumbler. Other app features include a variety of hint types to prevent getting stuck on a particularly hard puzzle as well as the option to send a convenient message to the puzzle recipient along with the photo jumble. After a puzzle has been solved it can be posted to the user's Twitter feed or Facebook album from in the game.
"The Kudu Apps team noticed that we were primarily using our iPhones to share photos and play games with friends and family and thought it would be a lot of fun if we were able to combine both activities into one app that was easy to use," says Mike Piazza of Kudu Apps, LLC. "I think Phumbler has the dual benefit of being a game that is made more personal by using your own photos and a way to share photos that is more engaging in the form of a puzzle. We think this is a lot more fun than sending photos in a text message."
Phumbler 1.0.2 is Free and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category. An ad-free pro upgrade is also available as a $1.99 in app purchase. Please visit the Phumbler website for more information including screenshots of the app.
