Pop artist Ron English created original artwork for his own "Popaganda" level in the popular Techno Kitten Adventure video game, released for iOS & Xbox Live Indie Games, developed by 21st Street Games.
Ron English's "Popaganda" pack features some of his signature characters kitteh-fied, including his signature Grin and MC Supersize. Artwork from Ron English's Techno Kitten Adventure pack, Popaganda, can be viewed on the 21st Street Games Tumblr at the link below. Gameplay of the level can be seen on the 21st Street Games YouTube page. The new pack also features original music by R-Kade, "Intergalactical High," available on iTunes.
American artist Ron English has been recognized as one of the top modern artists today. He is well known for contrasting photorealistic skeletons with well known cartoon characters like Charlie Brown, and painting well known fast food icons as obese victims of their own product. He has taken heat for his street art since the 1980's, transforming commercial billboards into bizarre yet familiar socio-political messages.
Download Techno Kitten Adventure on iPod, iPhone and iPad for free on iTunes. Ron English's "Popaganda" pack is available as an in-app purchase for $0.99 on iOS, and on Xbox Live Indie Games for 240 MSP. Techno Kitten Adventure is also available on Facebook, Android and Windows Phone at the game's official website.
Techno Kitten Adventure 1.1 is free (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
