Today Readdle releases Remarks 1.3, its note taking and PDF annotating application for the iPad. It allows people to write notes, draw sketches and makes it easy to annotate PDF documents on their iPads. The new version features an improved handwriting and automated Dropbox sync.
Remarks is a streamlined note taking application for the iPad focusing on an easy creation of notes and notebooks thanks to the extensive set of writing tools. Simple and intuitive interface makes Remarks a versatile tool for students, teachers or business people.
The application makes it easy to annotate the existing PDF documents, adding text or handwritten notes, and then email those files instantly. Annotating documents could be especially appealing to the students, who often need to highlight and jot notes in their text books during the lectures.
Remarks is the application, which can be used collaboratively for reviewing PDF documents or sharing sketches and notes. The new version now includes an automatic Dropbox sync, that immediately saves or updates all the new notes to the online storage.
"The idea of saving files into a single Dropbox folder, which will be instantly synced online, has become natural to many people", said Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. "Remarks 1.3 brings the simplicity of uploading files to Dropbox from the iPad and vice-versa."
Remarks 1.3 has an improved handwriting tool which now provides extremely smooth lines while writing or drawing. Handwritten notes created with Remarks now look more realistic, just like on paper.
Remarks 1.3 for iPad is available exclusively on the Apple App Store at $4.99 to new customers and as a free upgrade for existing users. Enterprise licensing is available on demand.
