Gaucho Software today is pleased to announce Seasonality Go 2.0 with support for the new iPad's Retina display. Seasonality Go has long established itself as the most flexible weather program available on the App Store, and has been praised by both The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly magazine. Users can create any number of weather screens and completely customize the layout of the weather data shown. Seasonality Go 2.0 has several new features including new forecast layouts, additional graphs for wind direction and probability of precipitation, and added radar coverage in Australia and Canada.
Seasonality Go uses the best forecast sources available both in the United States and around the world. In Seasonality Go 2.0, the forecast becomes even more useful with the new forecast display modes. The user can now decide if they want a standard 7 day forecast, a minimal forecast with just temperatures and icons, or a detailed hourly forecast showing a variety of forecast variables. Switching between forecast modes is just a pinch or a double-tap away. Furthermore, the new forecast adjusts to the user's preference, whether they want it to show horizontally across the screen, in one vertical column, or even displayed in a small view, one day at a time. Seasonality Go provides the best forecast interface available in any weather app.
Seasonality Go has always had a wide variety of beautiful graphs, featuring everything from temperature to wave height. With Seasonality Go 2.0, two new observation types have been added for a total of 10 different graphs! The new wind direction graph will show how the wind direction has changed over the past 2 weeks, as well as how it is expected to change over the next 7 days. The second new graph shows the chance of rain or snow throughout the next 7 day forecast, which is helpful while planning outdoor events.
Finally, with high resolution images, Seasonality Go looks incredible on the new iPad. Every weather detail is visible, and every graph curve drawn perfectly to take advantage of the new Retina display. Seasonality Go doesn't restrict itself to the latest hardware though, and continues to support all iPads running iOS 4.3 or later.
Seasonality Go 2.0 is available on the App Store for $9.99 (USD) in the Weather category, and is a free update for all current Seasonality Go customers. More information as well as a screencast showing Seasonality Go in action can be found online.
