Taking the paper-based child reward system to the digital age now enables parents, carers, grandparents, uncles, aunties ... in fact anyone, to recognise, award and encourage amazing behaviour within our families.
Leveraging mobile technology, 'Star'-worthy acts can be captured in an instant, awarded on the go and never forgotten.
The stars awarded contribute to the family's Star Jar and as soon as a Reward total is reached, they can be redeemed for the entire family to enjoy.
This evidence based rewarding also acts as a journal ... a journal that everyone can be proud of and the perfect excuse for a family fun reward.
"Pour to Sync" is a Fun and Enjoyable way of synchronizing these 'Star'-worthy acts across multiple devices. Harnessing over-the-air mobile Bluetooth technology, children around the World will love to pour their stars into the Star Jar.
Being able to sync' data across devices means stars can be awarded and shared by Parents, Carers, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties, Teachers ... practically anyone in the support network.
Star Jar is a Universal application for the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch
Star Jar was developed as a prototype for the London BeMyApp competition held over the weekend of 24-26 February 2012. Matt Glover set about creating an engaging and rewarding mobile application, utilising many uncommonly used features and technology available on Apple's iOS devices (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad). Matt Glover and StarJar went on to win 1st Place at the London event in what was described as a true underdog story ... as his one-man team toppled the giant teams of upto 12 members.
Star Jar 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Lifestyle category.
