iThinkdiff today updates Word Search Vocabulary Game to version 2.0 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Word Search Vocabulary Building Game lets anyone build their vocabulary while having fun at the same time. The game includes unlimited puzzles and allows users to compete against other players using a score-based leaderboard. In version 2.0 new languages vocabulary added along with English including Arabic, Bengali, Filipino, French, Hindi, Spanish, Thai, Turkish.
Users select a category of words - including words useful for study of English as a foreign language and for particular fields of endeavor such as medicine - and the game automatically generates a random puzzle. This means the game has unlimited puzzles and is not limited to a certain number of levels like other word search games.
To complete each round, the user has to drag their finger over each word is the word search puzzle. If the user gets stuck and can't find the remaining words, he or she can ask for up to two hints. (Bonus hints are available for players who win several rounds in a row.)
The Word Search Vocabulary Building Game keeps track of each users stats, letting users compete against themselves or against other players using the Games Center leaderboard, where the top players for each category of words will be listed.
The game does more than just help users learn to quickly recognize English words by also including a built-in dictionary which lets users look up the words they found after each round. If the word merits further study, the user can bookmark it and even email the list of bookmarked words to his or her self for study on another device. This makes the Word Search Vocabulary Building Game an excellent choice for formal students of English and native English speakers who want to improve their vocabulary.
