Asphalt4 from serious game developer GameLoft (producer of Shrek Video Games and Death Race Mobile) is a $9.99 Racing Game that combines the realistic action of Wing Nuts Motochaser with streetscapes set in Los Angeles.
Like Crash Bandicoot, the idea is to crash into various goal items while competing for pole position in this race across Los Angeles. The street scenes are very realistic, ranging from urban downtown LA, to the streets of Beverley Hills.
At $9.99 the game is no bargain, but the price is consistent with games of this quality. I expect to be playing a lot more of “Asphalt4” in the future.

We just posted a review of Asphalt 4, check it out: http://www.slidetoplay.com/story/asphalt-4-elite-racing-review
This is one of the most ambitious games to date for the iPhone, and except for a few rough edges it’s a fantastic game.
