A favorite personal finance app has undergone a digital makeover so that you can undergo a financial one. Originally available for download as Balance Forecasting, the new and improved Bills and Balance Forecasting w/Reminders is now free for download and use for up to six line items. If you already purchased Balance Forecasting the update was free and if not, the core app is free with new features available as an in app purchase should you find you like the design.
As a personal finance app, Bills and Balance Forecasting w/Reminders is a great way to get a handle on your monthly budget, as well as project how your current budget will play out in three months, six months, or even a year's time. Bills and Balance Forecasting w/ Reminders remains as user friendly and streamlined as the original design, but has added some features like push notifications for bills or balance updates, the ability to mark items as paid and provides a calendar view of forecasted balances.
Bills and Balance Forecasting w/Reminders lets users input totals for income and bills—both one-time and recurring—and allows for customization and even exceptions. The flexibility combined with simplicity is what makes Bills and Balance Forecasting an ideal personal finance app. You can still see your projected balance at a glance, when there will be extra money for saving and when there will be a shortage, but with the added calendar view it’s even easier to plan your budget.
Also new is the ability to sync app data over the web using the provided website, where you can do quick edits of current bills and income as well as see your forecasted balance. Push notifications are also available, allowing you to create reminders for bills or notify you when your projected balance is low. You can even customize the way it alerts you—by email, push notification, and even choose the best time of day.
As with its predecessor, the beauty of Bills and Balance Forecasting rests in its ability to be flexible and multi-purpose. You choose what information you want to provide, how you want to set up the data and view it and to what end. It’s complete and customizable enough to utilize it as an all-in-one personal budget organizer, but flexible enough to use it for a single goal if you prefer.
If you missed Balance Forecasting the first time around, give Bills and Balance Forecasting w/Reminders a look. It’s free to download, meaning it costs you nothing to explore the features and see if it can work for you. If you find you like it, the in app purchases—including unlimited items and web access are only .99.
