If, like me, you are a Blackberry refugee, the first game you look for on iPhone is the equivalent of Blackberry BrickBreaker. Break Touch 3D is that game. At $2.99, you don’t need to think too much before buying this wonderful time-waster.
Brought to you by Bootant, the makers of BeeCells, CubeRise, ColorRise and BreakTouch, the Game starts off initially in black and white mode and only goes to color at level 2.
The design is very original, combining a “hand drawn” brick look with vibrant colors, great game play, and solid sound effects. I was able to finish off all 16 levels on my third try, however, as you quickly win extra lives by catching falling stars.
Bootang promises some exciting updates, including more levels and a multi-ball mode in future releases. It’s no wonder that this app is currently the #1 of all paid apps.
