I like it BUT – room for improvement
1. Ability to sync – essential
2. Ability to see a calendar view – essential
3. Instructions or help – lacking – example, what is the status button for? How do you use it.

Love Covey – wanted to go from paper to iphone this year but not sure it is ready for prime time.

I really like the app.
Will not use it, however, because it will not sync with outlook.

I am sorry but some of the comments on this app are obviously made by people with an ax to grind or publishers of other Task programs and they know FCTasks is better.

I too have used Franklin products since the days of paper including all their computer programs for tasks.

This is a tasks program not a calendar or journal program. Read the specs before you buy. When I buy a car I expect a car not a car and a house and a Luxury Yacht.

The program works flawlessly and does EXACTLY what they say it does! Watch the video the FC posted on youtube and you will know exactly what it does and it has NO bugs.

Don’t get me wrong, there are things I think could be changed and added but I will not slam it for not being a Luxury Yacht when it does not profess to be such.

I agree with teh above comments. I have used a paper based Franklin for many years. As Andrew pointed out it does not give you a calander view. Also you cant use it like a normal franklin to make notes for each day i.e. if you had a meeting to record events. I feel that it should include the calander and a diary.

That “shutting down” you experienced when deleting is called a CRASH. The app died. This app has many bad reviews that report it crashing. It is poorly written, and needs updating. I wouldn’t recommend it based on the reviews I’ve read. So far, FC have written a one-off app and are resting on their brand name recognition laurels. They need to invest some money and fix it.

I am a lifetime Franklin user. First the paper system and then the Windows version of Daily Task on my Pocket PC. I recently switched to the iPhone and bought FCTask. I am so very disappointed. I really thought Franklin would have made this program as user friendly and intuitive as their paper and Windows products.

Here are my 3 biggest complaints…

1. It does not have a separate screen showing the tasks due on separate days. I want to “flip” through my days and see the tasks for each days like flipping through a notebook system.

2. Where is the calendar? Instead of a calendar that pops up and allows me to select due dates or forwarding dates I have a date “wheel”. Excuse me? What is this silly wheel? I want to see it on a real calendar.

3. It won’t sync! What good is this tool if I risk loosing all my task lists because the program won’t back them up anywhere.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give it a 2.
