While you're waiting, you're missing out on a bunch of new goodies. I did the jailbreak thing for a while and decided it wasn't worth the bother or potential risk of bricking my phone. The current OS 3.0 pretty much makes jail breaking a waste of time, anyway. The iPhone Dev team is holding back on releasing an new jailbreaking tools until the iPhone 3GS is widely available and Apple’s iPhone OS 3.0.1 is rolled out.
