i bought the color spectrum app from itunes and it drains my battery faster than any other app. is it just the one i bought or does that app drain others too? or should i just get another one

It depends on which program it is. But yes those 'look at the pretty colors' applications are draining to the battery; especially if they move to the sound of your music I heard.
