| | One of the speakers on the bottom of the iPhone does not work. The reason for this is that there is only one speaker on the bottom of the iPhone. The hole on the right side that people often mistake for a second speaker is actually a microphone. This fact is true for the new iPhone 3G and the old iPhone. Check out this picture for the specific location:

| | I figured it out the first time I used it. Why is this such a surprise that a speaker could be on one side and if the other side isn't playing sound, it's probably a mic! haha Well sorry for offending anyone…next question!! =) |
