How important is it to get your app reviewed for it to be a “success”?

Reviews on Review Sites?!  Not THAT important…


Reviews IN the App Store from other users?  YES!  HUGE!

That 5 star rating system is extremely important to determining if people will buy/download your app!  So here is what you do, get as many people you can to download and RATE your app with 5 stars as soon as you launch it in the App Store.  Do whatever you can to keep your rating between 3.5-5 stars!  Any lower and noo good!

BUT, you can also use your app store reviews as ways to learn from your market!  Take their complaints and suggestions and improve yout app OR make a whole new app altogether!  BOOM!
