I have an iPod Touch and spent the $$ for the update, but it crippled some of my most often used games and other apps I spent money for. Apple has been VERY slow on approving the updates that they submitted. Two of them specifically submitted updates on the 18th, and they’re STILL not available. Frustrating. I would have waited if I’d known it was going to KILL my favourite game…

I have just upgraded to the 3GS. I have been using a Jaybird JB-200 with my iPhone 2G for a while now. It was annoying having the transmitter plugged into the Dockconector but the actual headset was great. Now with the 3GS the JB-200 works fantastically and flawlessly with the stereo Bluetooth – no more annoying transmitter! And the quality of the sound is 10 times better with no static.

i posted few days ago if this works with ipod touch . i synced my touch and yes it works. thou the blue tooth fetcher works only with the 2nd gen. worth the down load for new apps games and bluetooth .found cool app only for the 3.0 version called lyrical works with songs in your music library.all lyrics are displayed over you album art. a must have !

dose this newer version work with the ipod touch ? some apps say need 3.0 version so im shure the next time i sync my touch to i tunes it will prompt me to download did not get a chance yet .

To find out if you qualify for a discounted upgrade to the 3G S, from your iPhone, dial *NEW# and you will shortly receive a text message from AT&T with the answer.

I did and it wasn’t good news in my case. But, at least I didn’t have to stand in line to find out or go through 3 operators and wondered if their answer was accurate.
