It's time for everyone to bring out their mad daredevil skills. Line Rider gives you the chance to draw out a course so that the character in the game can ride it. It's a lot more fun than it sounds.
With Line Rider you start out with a blank screen that looks similar to an art editing program. Use the tools to draw lines which creates a course the for character to ride, but be careful because if you do something wrong the character will crash. The goal of Line Rider is to make a course that the sledder can ride successfully without crashing or flipping or falling off. Sounds difficult, but Line Rider is actually quite fun.
When I was drawing the course I made jumps and gaps that the sledder would clear and I was almost able to make him flow perfectly through. Now, I'm a diehard snowboarder and love to fly down trails and hit jumps and all that good stuff, so for me this is a ton of fun. Especially since the season is upon us again.
Line Rider comes with some great tools and also has an help explanation of each and every tool. The first tool is a pencil that allows you to draw out the lines. The second is a line tool that is only straight lines and makes it easier for you to do that. Both of those tools come with colors which each does a different thing. Blue is just a regular line, red is the acceleration line, and green is a scenery line.
The next tool is an eraser to erase mistakes in the line. The next is the undo button if you want to undo the last like you just drew. Then there's the zoom button which is pretty self explanatory. Followed by the hand tool with allows you to move around the course. Then followed by self explanatory play, save, and trash buttons.
Use any combination of tools to draw a line and watch the character ride it all the way to the bottom.
