And if your telling the truth then its your fault your kid a seizure because you should never had let him download the app in the first place, dont you know what your child downloads? P.S.Kathy your a liar, ive been around people that get seizures and none of them scream. In fact at plays in which they use strobe lights they warn the audience and ask if anyone needs to leave due to seizure risk. Just be cautious on who gets a hold of this app. It's a potential risk but is unlikely....When in doubt just don't buy it. If you have enough control you could just try not using the strobe setting...

Seizures due to strobe lights are known to happen it is not unheard of. I've worked in the health care field for 20 years. My own sister had seizures from epilepsy. Seizing people don't scream. They have no motor control. Not sure why she's lying but she is.

The lady describing her son having a seizure due to this app is lying. Although this small number of people have this condition of photosensitive epilepsy, 3999 people don't. Just because I, too, have this condition doesn't mean the other people shouldn't get this app.

1 in 4000 is the official number. He was screaming and couldn't control his body. He then turned blue, stopped breathing, we crashed onto the shoulder of the road and then had to flag down assistance. He stopped breathing, and and went limp. I thought my son was dead until he curled up into a ball and tried to form words, which he couldn't. He lost all control of his body and we had to sit in the middle of no where for 30 minutes until a anbulance came to our aide. He lost an hour of his life to this application. I thought I lost my son forever.
My son never had anything more then a cold in his life, he has not had a seizure since we threw out the itouch. I am so lucky to have my son back to me with no scaring other then the hours spent that day in fear.
This application at the time did not hold any warning and is free. I do not suggest anyone download it and I stop everyone with an IPod to tell them my sons story. Please pass along.

We were driving on the highway when my son found the mylite strobe setting. He suffered a grand mal seizure. My son tried using this feature at a church concert and passed out and had a seizure. I spoke to someone the other day who said they knew of two other children that had seizures due to this app. I know there is a warning, but for those who normally are not affected by this sort of thing do not take it seriously. This option should not even be available! I reccommend this strobe feature be banned. My guess is that the 1 in 4000 stats that apple states in the manual is much higher.
Depending on where the person is when this might happen is very important and can be very serious or even cause death. I don't believe that most parents or kids realize the dangers of this app. Do not download.

This feature is VERY DANGEROUS when in the strobe mode.
