What’s more fun than a self portrait? Being able to snap it yourself of course! NaughtyNuts brings their camera timer application to the App Store chalk full of features. NaughtyNuts Camera Self-Timer allows you to use your iPhone to capture self portraits, group shots and more. The app lets you set the timer to snap a shot anywhere from five to 60 seconds. You have the option to choose a voice or sound alert during the countdown to your snapshot.
NaughtyNuts Camera Self-Timer is pretty easy to use. All of the timer settings appear on screen and can be chosen with a simple tap of a button. NaughtyNuts also remembers the last setting used so you don’t have to reset it if you frequently use one particular setting. One of the best features is the preview feature. If you snap a shot you can preview it before you save it.
While the self-timer app is an exciting addition to the App Store since the iPhone’s camera doesn’t currently come with this feature, it isn’t without its faults. The visual interface of NaughtyNuts is not very appealing. The steel blue, grey and blue-green color schemes are a little lackluster and the graphics leave something to be desired.
Looks aside, our main gripe is that the countdown sounds for NaughtyNuts Camera Self-Timer could be a better. The human voice that counts down to picture time isn’t very likable.
We really appreciate that the developers thought to include a tutorial on how to make a stand out of currency. The whole purpose of a self-timer is not to hold the camera, but it’s not always feasible to prop up the phone to take a pic.
All in all, for just $1.99 NaughtyNuts Camera Self-Timer is still worth giving “a shot” because it adds the kind of iPhone functionality that we wish had come standard.

This app will revolutionize parts of the internet by changing the stereotypical “MySpace pic”, where the old version is one’s arm stretched out in a self portrait, to a more normal-looking shot where a timer was used. lol

Your website is an excellent resource. Very useful. I wonder if you could start adding how much memory each app occupies/requires.
Thanks.

First of all, thanks for your appreciation on the good side of the app. We are happy that the app can help. We have amended the app with new interfaces, sounds and functionalities.
Maybe the most important update is that you can take time-lapsed photos now! Once you sync your photo to your Mac/PC, you may convert into animated gifs. One of our customer send us his sample as below (thank you Robin).
