As a 9-year New Yorker, I don't recommend this app. There's no other app exactly like it (so I don't have any better suggestions), but uniqueness alone doesn't make it worth $5.

The maps don't even zoom, and many are illegibly dense. As for content, the NFT books are obsessed with snark at the expense of usefulness, and the condensation of the descriptions for iPhone just makes them worse. I think the NFT concept is solid, but it reads like it was written by asshole NYU students who just moved here and are trying to out-snark each other over 2am coffee.

I would kill for an app that's like this but with useful content.
