This is a pretty good guide for a buck - the hard copy version is currently in its 40th year of publication, so i know the content it up to date!

I’ve been using the ‘Emergency First Aid & Treatment guide’ ’cause I too like photos. They are available for both iPhone and Blackberry and feature step by step full video instruction on what to do in a medical emergency situations. You can find them here > http://www.redivideos.com.

I would check out these apps at RediVideos. look into 'cpr and choking' by 'stone meadow development.'
there's a lot to be said for first aid manuals. calling 911 is very important but someone could bleed out before help arrives. that's why it's called 'first aid.' :)you might think it is being a 'boy scout,' but watching someone die and feeling helpless about it is quite traumatic. no one promises to turn you into an ER surgeon for 99 cents but you can do a lot.

there’s a free cpr app with good graphics on itunes. i have it.<br
