I had high hopes for “Pop Quiz”, being a big fan of both Trivial Pursuit, and “Who wants to be a Millionaire”, but this is yet another app to escape Apple’s quality control. First of all, there are only 100 (that’s correct, 100) questions. Wow. I really can’t wait for “Pop Quiz 2 with 250 Questions”.
The questions are also amazingly lame. For example: “Which character from Saved by The Bell had a sex tape released in 2006?”.
Finally, there is the game itself: instead of showing the answers after each question, they are tallied up at the end, presumably because to facilitate the coding of the app. And the background images behind each question…bad myspace background wallpaper.
This app is a stinker. Hopefully somebody improves on it in the trivia space soon.
