this app is junk ... the functions simply don't work. you can't show a client anything from this app on the fly, ... its just a bunch of unreadable code

plus they abandoned it; it has not been updated in over a year

Be nice if it were a bit cheaper, I think it will detour people even more.. As for the above, well I think people like to gather information beforehand and this can only do so much. You still can't gather keyword rankings. If you want to sell them by dishing out onsite seo garble, by all means.

Come on people you act like you have no business sense. I downloaded this app, and have landed several new clients on the fly simply by whipping the app out and analyzing their site on the fly when someone I talk to happens to mention they have a web site. Just because a client knows 'what' to do doesn't mean they know 'how' to do it or that they have the time to. As any good seo person knows, it takes hours and hours of ongoing time investment. Most everyone knows the same tricks these days...but I am hired because I am honest and do a good job and because most of my small business clients don't have the time to do it themselves. It's nice to have an actual APP, not a web site with a bunch of banenr ads, to show the prospect directly what's wrong with their site...more often than not, showing them this, combined with some honesty and laying out a plan of action of which they will probably have no time to do, I land work more often than not. I look at it as a valuable SALES TOOL.

It's certainly a good idea. I would think they would make the price tag a bit more reasonable and use the increase in downloads to convert business for them or affiliates to help with optimization.

Create a whole network of SEO companies under proSEO umbrella. Is someone who really already gets SEO going to buy this when they can do it on the web for free. Probably, but there is a much larger play here.

I agree with Jerry. If it was free it would be kinda alright to use. For a price, not really.
