It's not another shopping list App but if you've had to calculate discounts and special offers in your head or sl=plit a restaurant bill as many times as I have then it might be very useful for you.Cheers

Hi, strictly speaking the name “Shopper” belongs to another App of mine. There are now scores, even hundreds, of furious reviews for "Shopper" on iTunes -- it is no longer the app that this site reviewed earlier this year. What's more, support e-mail from the company suggests that it plans to charge its customers a second time in order to allow them to remove the ads that the app did not have in the first place -- a move that, in my opinion at least, resembles a Mafia protection racket in which marks are charged by goons not to be harmed further. Both the insertion of ads and the plans to charge customers a second time to have those ads removed bespeak untrustworthiness on the part of the developer. We've all heard stories recently of how Americans have had their credit cards cancelled based on shopping habits like the ones that this app seems to want to track and report to advertisers. Users should ask themselves whether they want to entrust their sensitive shopping patterns to a developer whose practices have already proven to be untrustworthy.

As of January 1, 2010, prospective users should know that the app’s developers inserted ads into a previously ad-free app that its customers had already paid for. So far it does most of the things I want (the others will be included in the upcoming upgrade, per store price for one). Shopper is one of the surprisingly few existing shopping list apps that lets you add the price of an item (it's shocking how few grocery / shopping list apps do that) and then not only shows you the total of your list, but distinguishes between what you have in your cart and what you still have on your list.
I found this extremely helpful for those few times I was tight on money and realised I needed to put an item back. Also, it remembers the price so I can see what I will spend while make the list at home (checking the fridge and pantry). For me, that is basically a must.Regarding the cookies: yes, the pre-existing list isn't too extensive (I liked that actually, as I think the items are US-centric? which doesn't help me much in the Netherlands). However, you can add any item you like and you only need to do this once for an item. You can also create a folder / category 'Cookies' if you like, and fill that up will all kinds of cookies :)Personally I like that the list isn't too extensive *and* that it doesn't have one of those online database checking things. They get in the way far me (probably because it checks a non-Dutch site).Done babbling now. I just really love this app. :)

I love Shopper.
