Anyone who has ever traveled abroad knows what a pain it can be sometimes to make long-distance phone calls. Quick, is it +974 for Bahrain or is it +975? Is that the number I dial for Bahrain when I'm in the U.S. or is that the number I dial for the U.S. when I'm in Bahrain?
If you travel abroad frequently, you might find Hiray Information's Smart Dialler useful for making calls and sending text internationally. What the app does is enable you to add international dialing prefixes to any of the numbers in your Contacts, without altering the Contacts info itself. You can store your 10 most recent international prefixes as well.
People who travel a lot might find it useful. I travel internationally three or four times a year and I'm not inclined to use it. But if you're on a first-name basis with the baggage handlers at airports, you might.
By the way, it's +974 for Bahrain.
