WhosHere is a recently launched social networking app that reminds us a lot of the original MySpace.
- bad design. check. like MySpace, WhosHere does not let design (or features) get in the way. Its all about pictures, one after the other, of people near you
- lots of people looking “to party”. check. this is the first app that we have seen that seems to have true virality. This is not Facebook, this is “John,22, Yo Peeps” and the occasional woman looking for “friendship”
It would be easy to criticize WhosHere for its utter lack of design and features, but at the end of the day, if your goal is to surf random people on the internet in search of friendship+, then numbers are key. WhosHere seems to be heading in the right direction on that front, especially compared to other competing services.

This is an interesting app for myspace. Im surprised they are still allowing the viral ones to operate.
