Wine Log by Byte Plan is an app for wine-lovers (such as myself), who want a clean app to keep track of their wine tastings. The problem with the app, though, is it forces you to do everything yourself, so its really just a notepad masquarading as a wine application.
The correct way to do a product like this would be to integrate a comprehensive wine database, such as erobertparker’s, together with a notepad. That way you could look up wines, check out the official rankings, and add your own notes for future use.
The only redeeming feature I can see with this app is the integration with the camera that allows you to take pictures of the wine labels.

I love this app. I think it’s most certainly worth the 2.99. I couldn’t find any other apps (at least no free ones) that allowed both photo taking and notes on the same page… team that up with the search-ability of the wines and you’ve got yourself an app worth having. I love it.
