Everybody loves free stuff. So the AppCraver editors put together a list of our favorite free apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Free applications are judged the same way as paid apps. However, when it comes to picking our favorites, we're a little more lenient.

To be listed here, an app must score at least 7/10. Not all apps make the cut though. If there are several decent free apps in a category, only the highest scoring app will make this list.

Just out for a good time with no long-term commitment? Then take a look at our list of Worthwhile Apps. Not likely to earn a "best of all time" moniker, these apps are still fun, short-term distractions.
